Stanley likes to discover the logic behind mathematical structures. As a Mathematics major at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), he is driven by a curiosity to explore how math theory can be applied to real-world challenges—from data science to financial models.
He has actively participated in academic research projects and student-led initiatives at HKUST. He’s particularly interested in mathematical modelling and has contributed to interdisciplinary projects that bridge mathematics with computer science.
Outside of academics, he finds joy in music. He plays the clarinet regularly, appreciating its expressive range and the calm focus it brings. His favourite moments are those when a well-played phrase resonates like a beautifully solved equation.
